Mejores discos de la historia.

Lo prometido es deuda: aquí una lista de los mejores discos de la historia elaborada por dos lectores de este blog.

Pues bien, resulta que SnowGoosito junto con su amigo Lynottking han elaborado una lista con lo que para ellos son los discos imprescindibles de la música ‘pop’.

Ellos mismos os la explican.

Consideraciones:

1. El criterio de selección de los álbumes que aparecen en la lista ha estado orientado a escoger un único álbum por artista, representativo de su obra, y que sirva para introducir al oyente a esa banda o género. En ocasiones, hemos sido más subjetivos y escogido álbumes que, sencillamente, nos gustan más. En cualquier caso, la lista está hecha a base de álbumes o corrientes que realmente recomendamos.
2. No hemos introducido álbumes de jazz, música “clásica”, música tradicional, etc. Nos hemos centrado, únicamente, en la vertiente de la música que podríamos llamar “pop” (es decir, todo el universo de géneros y subgéneros de música popular). Si bien hay no pocos discos en la lista que tienen mucho que ver con el jazz, el folk, el flamenco y la música tradicional de diversas regiones, si están en la lista es, o bien porque están fusionados con otros géneros, o bien porque, por cualquier motivo, consideramos que pertenecen o podrían pertenecer a este bloque que llamamos “música popular”. La razón de esto es muy sencilla: géneros como el jazz o el flamenco son mundos enormes por sí solos, con su propio lenguaje, subgéneros, épocas, etc (y que, además, nosotros particularmente disfrutamos mucho más en directo que en grabación, pero esto es totalmente personal); requerirían una lista propia aparte de esta.
3. Dentro de lo que nos estamos refiriendo como “música popular”, hemos procurado que estén representados la mayor cantidad posible de artistas clave de los diversos géneros y épocas. También nos hemos permitido el lujo de incluir algunas rarezas, o bandas generalmente menos conocidas, que nosotros consideramos joyas ocultas. Somos conscientes de que muchas de las bandas citadas han tenido su trayectoria y evolución a lo largo de muchos años; lamentablemente, este factor no queda reflejado en nuestra lista. Contamos con que muchos echarán en falta ciertos discos o artistas en la lista. Como hemos señalado antes, creíamos oportuno incluir un único disco por artista citado. En cualquier caso, creemos que hemos conseguido incluir música para todos los gustos y oídos.

Lo cierto es que no tengo mucha idea de cómo funciona esta web, pero si al chaval le podéis dar unas cuantas visitas y apoyo mejor que mejor.

Quiero dejar claro que esta es su lista. Se la han currado ellos y son sus elecciones. Como no quiero tocar una mierda de lo que han hecho al final yo mismo haré una pequeña lista recomendando algunos discos que a mi juicio también son importantes o interesantes. No os la toméis como mi propia lista de los mejores o algo así, sino como si estuviéramos de birras y os recomendara un buen grapado de buenas vibraciones.

A nivel personal creo que es una muy buena lista. Cualquiera de los discos mencionados se merece una escucha, aunque obviamente de haberla hecho yo habría quitado algunas obras y habría puesto otras.
